  • (a)

Industrial users shall provide protection from accidental discharge of materials which may interfere with the municipal wastewater system by developing spill prevention plans. Facilities necessary to implement these plans shall be provided and maintained at the owner's or industrial user's expense. Spill prevention plans, including the facilities and the operating procedures, shall be approved by the city before implementation of the plan.

    (b)

Industrial users who store hazardous substances shall not contribute to the municipal wastewater system, unless a spill prevention plan has been approved by the city.
