§ 46-4. Excavation permit.

Latest version.

It shall be unlawful to dig a hole or trench or to tear up, mutilate or damage or injure in any manner whatsoever any of the sidewalks, pavements or streets within the city without first obtaining a permit from the city. When such permit is obtained such street or sidewalk shall be placed in as good condition as before such damage, within 24 hours after such digging, tearing up or other mutilation.
