§ 22-1. Qualification fees of candidates; ballots; managers; proclamation.

  • (a)

    Each candidate for election to the city council shall qualify as provided by section 31 of the Charter and shall pay a qualification fee of $25.00 or as otherwise established by the city commission.

    (g)

    The city commission may authorize the conduct of an election by paper ballot, and by hand counting of ballots. In addition, the city commission may decline the use of early voting.
